We are honored to announce an extraordinary collaboration between Sir Karl Jenkins and the artist Andrea Vizzini, born from mutual admiration and a profound artistic synergy. The cover of Jenkins’ latest album, Stravaganza, features a painting by Vizzini, which not only serves as the visual identity of the album but also inspired its title.

The artwork for Stravaganza is taken from a new piece by the renowned Italian painter Andrea Vizzini. After discovering one of his paintings in Venice in 1997 at Galleria Ravagnan, Karl’s wife remarked that it seemed to reflect how Karl's music sounded, and later discovered that Vizzini had actually been working while listening to his music, completely by coincidence!

Their collaboration goes beyond this single project: over the years, Jenkins has drawn inspiration from the vivid imagery and emotional depth of Vizzini’s paintings, while Vizzini, in turn, has been influenced by Jenkins’ evocative compositions.

This reciprocal exchange has enriched both of their artistic journeys, creating a captivating dialogue between music and painting, where each artist finds new perspectives in the other’s work.
