Massimo Barlettani

Massimo Barlettani was born in Volterra in 1956.

He lives and works in Cerreto Guidi.

Massimo Barlettani’s professional path unfolds across advertising creativity, art publishing, and artistic research. Founder of the advertising agency B&A, he has distinguished himself over the years through award-winning creative work. Alongside his activity in advertising, he has devoted himself to art publishing: with Zeta Scorpii Editore he conceived and published dozens of volumes, developing through continuous dialogue with international photographers and artists a distinctive and highly personal aesthetic sensibility.

His artistic research began with abstract painting and progressively evolved into a figurative reinterpretation of iconic elements, with particular attention to the female figure and themes drawn from nature. Since 2012, he has been developing a body of work focused on the theme of life and its symbolic representation through rarefied floral imagery, which has become a defining feature of his recent production.

He has exhibited in important institutional venues including Palazzo Oddo in Albenga, Ca’ dei Carraresi in Treviso, Palazzo Pretorio in Volterra, the Church of Santa Maria della Spina in Pisa, Villa Fiorentino in Sorrento, and the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice, as well as participating in major art biennials.

Over the last decade, he has expanded his international presence with exhibitions in London, Atlanta, Hangzhou, Toronto, and Santander, while maintaining a continuous presence at art fairs in numerous countries.
