Attasit Pokpong is a Thai artist. Born in 1977, he graduated at the Rajamonkong Institute of Technology and embarked on his career at the end of the 1990s.
He specializes in watercolours and oil paintings, and is famous for his portraits of Asiatic people with gaudy lips. He also creates street scenes featuring the bars and public places which animate Bangkok’s urban landscape.
His works have been on show in many solo and collective exhibitions in the fairs and galleries of Bangkok, Shanghai, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Basel, Melbourne and Miami. At present he lives and works in Bangkok.
